Activities and Leisure
At Truuta Guesthouse, nestled between the lakes and hills of Otepää, boredom is never an option. Whether you’re here to relax or simply enjoy nature, you’ll have access to a wide range of leisure activities. Simply choose the ones that suit you best!

Padel court
Southern Estonia’s first padel court offers an exclusive opportunity to enjoy padel, a sport that is rapidly gaining popularity across Europe. Easy to learn and fun to play, padel is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. It is the perfect game to enjoy with friends, refreshing the mind and energising the body. The padel court is open from April until the end of October. To secure your preferred playing time, we recommend booking online at padelotepaa.ee. The court is closed during the winter.
Our holiday house has something for billiards enthusiasts too! In the spa area on the villa’s ground floor, you’ll find a billiard table where you can enjoy a few games in a relaxed atmosphere.
There are few places in Estonia where you’ll find a purpose-built yoga house—especially one perched on a hillside with a 200-square-meter terrace overlooking a primeval valley. This is a truly remarkable and inherently spiritual location, perfect for solo meditation, hosting a yoga retreat with friends, or engaging in other spiritual and athletic group activities, be it art, children’s, or sports camps.
Situated on the shore of a beautiful lake, our authentic smoke sauna offers a truly traditional sauna experience. Enjoy the unique atmosphere and soothing heat, cool off with a refreshing dip in the lake, or simply admire the sunset from the jetty in front of the sauna.
If a smoke sauna feels like too much of an undertaking but you would still like to enjoy a relaxing sauna experience, our barrel sauna located between the guesthouse and the stable offers the perfect alternative. Warm up in the sauna and then cool off with a refreshing plunge into the large pond right next to it.
Truuta is home to horses and ponies that guests can meet and get to know. By prior arrangement, you can book a one-hour session that includes bringing a horse in from the paddock, grooming and cleaning it, saddling it, and trying horseback riding under the guidance of an instructor. Depending on the participant’s experience, the horse may be led by hand, ridden on a lunge line, or ridden independently in the arena.
